It's a sad day today. MJ's gone.I first fall in ‘love’ with him when he was with Jackson 5. The song BEN was my favorite, even until now.
I had my first on-stage dance performance in MRSM Kulim - with his song Off The Wall. It was Friday Night Special2, May 1980. I was in Form 2 then.
I was always amazed at how smooth a dancer he was.
And a brilliant singer.
Goodbye MJ.

I nak tengok..is he going through the Muslim or Christian funeral ceremony..because I rasa he is not a Muslim convert yet.
Nevertheless, I too cry for his passing..a great and absolutely fantastic performer..never a let down with new and very unique songs!!

I pun tak sabar nak tunggu the funeral. I really really hope he was a convert. I tried looking at two shopping malls today -for the last album he did apa tu - Towards the Light - but couldn't get it. Lucky I already bought his compilation a few months back. My hubby was asking for his Concert DVD at Amcorp last week but wasn't available. Mcm tau2 saja MJ nak pergi.
I believe MJ touched our lives, sedar atau tak sedar. We practically grew up with his songs apa... huhuhu...

I was driving home after sending my daughter to school just now ( kelas ganti on saturday)and the DJ played MJ's song, suddenly tears welled in my eyes. I love his songs and dance moves but didn't know that he could touch me deeply. Really felt his loss too, I went to his concert in 1988, duduk jauh but dapatlah tengok dia live kat screen besar tu, if I can find the photos I'll put in my post.will miss all those ooh and auww and ahh inhis songs. I even have his BAD album but in record and my turntable dah tak leh pakai!
He will be missed for sure but quoting Bala the thriller is dead, but the thrill is here to stay.
Yes, there will be an MJ song for every phase of our life kan... and I so love BEN....
i feel the same sadness when we lost arwah sudirman. tak sangka he'll be gone young.the consolation is that he died on petang jumaat dalam bulan rejab, in case the convert story tu true lah...

A waste indeed. He was so talented. I think the saddest thing was that he was never happy in his own skin--everytime I see the video clip 'Ben', I ask 'what happened to that little boy?'. May he RIP.

I was also watching the Off the Wall show which my batch buat masa zaman dulu. Me not a perfomer lah. He will be missed. I love the Man in the Mirror.

After so many days baru terasa 'kehilangan' MJ. His songs...his dance moves..his oooh..ouuu... no one can replace him. Love the pictures you post here. That's the MJ I want to remember...Teringat satu masa dulu, my friend kat ITM tersyasyul sebut nama MJ, dia sebut "Jackel Mikeson". Today I heard that it'll be a Muslim funeral. It was said that he converted last year and vchanged his name to Mikhaeel.
